Coach Dave's Pitch Count (TM) is a handheld battery-operated electronic device, similar in size to a stopwatch. The Pitch Count is utilized by an individual (baseball manager, coach, player, scout, parent or fan) to keep a running tally of the number of pitches thrown by a pitcher during a game or practice session, as well as the percentage of strikes thrown relative to the total number of pitches thrown. The Model 400 Pitch Count also serves as a stopwatch.
The Pitch Count automatically sounds an audible alarm at 75, 85, 95 and the 105 pitch-mark to remind a coach the pitcher has thrown a given number of pitches. The sound can be turned on and off. The Pitch Count is easy to use and allows the eyes of the user to remain on the pitcher's mechanics and/or game in general.
The Pitch Count can also track the performance of two pitchers at the same time.
