High Density Foam Rollers are simple, effective tools for specific stretching and warm-up prior to activity. Foam rollers offer an excellent means for increasing muscle pliability, promoting strength and optimal function through a full range of motion. Regular use of a roller can be beneficial for enhancing performance and preventing injury.
The foam rollers are 6" in diameter and available in 12" and 36" lengths as either full-round or half-round. Choose from two foam rollers- a traditional foam roller or a molded foam roller with a smooth surface. Both rollers are designed for moderate to heavy use.
The high-density red polyethylene rolls are made from a formula yielding 2.7 pounds per square foot as opposed to the standard roller typically yielding 2.2 pounds per square foot. These traditional rollers feel firmer than the standard roller and have a higher crush resistance resulting in greater durability.
The molded foam rollers are firm in density, have a smooth surface and does not lose it shape after moderate to heavy use. Cleaning is much easier due to the smooth surface. Molded foam rollers are often the choice of professionals.
