About This Product
Five field-tested tools that cover fluid instability, throwing deceleration, sand-filled overload, and connected-movement feedback.
Package 1 bundles five training tools that each target a different piece of a baseball or softball athlete’s development: whole-body bracing against a shifting load, directional trunk stability, arm-deceleration training after the throw, sand-filled overload/underload work, and movement-constraint feedback for connected mechanics. Together they give a program a complete rotation of tools covering trunk, shoulder, and arm-care work.
- KHAOS® Water Ball MAX (30cm) — A water-and-air-filled training sphere with internal fluid displacement that forces the hips, trunk, and shoulders to brace against sudden, shifting momentum during carries, rotational drills, and sport-specific patterns.
- KHAOS® Waterboy MAX (Medium) — A tube-shaped water bag that channels a directional fluid load end-to-end, amplifying postural-correction demand during presses, hinges, lunges, and carries without changing the underlying lift mechanics.
- TAP® Baseball Training Sock — A wearable throwing sleeve that lets athletes throw in small spaces without a partner, creating a controlled deceleration pull on the posterior shoulder at the end of every rep.
- TAP® Max-Grip Weighted Ball (7oz) — A sand-filled, textured-shell weighted ball for wall throws, target work, rebounding drills, and batting practice, built for secure handling in coach-directed arm-care and contact-work blocks.
- TAP® Connection Ball — A small inflatable constraint trainer that exposes disconnections in throwing, hitting, and rotational movement in real time, giving athletes instant tactile feedback when they leak energy or lose their arm path.
What's In This Package?
Package 1 includes one KHAOS® Water Ball MAX (30cm, green, 8–12 lb fill range), one KHAOS® Waterboy MAX (Medium, black, up to ~90 lb fill capacity), one TAP® Baseball Training Sock (single updated model, one size fits most), one TAP® Max-Grip Weighted Ball at 7 oz, and one TAP® Connection Ball (~5 oz, adjustable 9–12″ diameter, ships deflated).
Each tool solves a different training problem on its own, and together they give a program coverage across whole-body bracing, directional trunk stability, arm-deceleration training, weighted-ball overload work, and movement-constraint feedback.
Why These Five Work Together
Five tools, five different training problems
Trunk & Whole-Body Bracing
The Water Ball and Waterboy both use a shifting water-and-air fill to load the hips, trunk, and shoulders unpredictably — one spherical for multi-directional bracing, one cylindrical for directional stability during presses, hinges, and carries.
Arm-Care and Overload Work
The Baseball Training Sock trains deceleration — the muscles that slow the arm after release — while the Max-Grip Weighted Ball adds sand-filled overload for wall throws, target work, and contact drills, covering both sides of a throwing arm-care block.
Connected Movement Feedback
The Connection Ball rounds out the package with instant tactile feedback on throwing and hitting mechanics — a constraint-based tool that lets the body self-correct instead of relying only on verbal cues.

How to Use It
Warm-up and prep: Open a session with the Connection Ball during a light throwing or swing pattern to identify connection issues before increasing intensity. The Water Ball or Waterboy can also be used for a short bracing-focused movement block involving the trunk and hips.
Arm-care block: Pair the Baseball Training Sock with the 7 oz Max-Grip Weighted Ball in the same session. The Training Sock can be used for deceleration-focused release drills, while the Max-Grip Weighted Ball can be used for controlled wall throws and target work.
Strength and stability work: Rotate the Water Ball and Waterboy through controlled carries, presses, hinges, and rotational movements on non-throwing days or as supplemental training. Both use a shifting water load rather than a fixed weight.
Refer to each individual product page for its full usage information, drill progressions, and age-related guidance.

Safety Guardrails
This package contains training implements intended for athletes approximately 13 and older when used with qualified adult or coach supervision. For younger athletes or athletes in a rapid growth period, prioritize movement quality, coordination, and timing rather than load or volume. Stop activity and consult an appropriately qualified professional if pain, unusual soreness, or other concerning symptoms occur.
- Not a toy: All five items are supervised training implements, not play items.
- Use clear training space: Use the Max-Grip Weighted Ball only with suitable walls, targets, nets, or screens in a clear area. None of these products are designed for contact with another person.
- Not a medical device: These items are not medical devices and are not substitutes for physical therapy, rehabilitation, or return-to-throwing guidance.
- Inspect before use: Check each tool, surrounding area, available clearance, plugs, handles, and product condition before beginning a drill.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I buy any of these items individually instead of the full package?
Yes. Every item in Package 1 is also sold on its own product page, so you can purchase additional units or a different variant of an individual tool without purchasing the entire package again.
Can I swap the Max-Grip ball weight or the Waterboy size?
No. Package 1 ships with the specific variants shown in the contents table: a 7 oz TAP® Max-Grip Weighted Ball and a Medium KHAOS® Waterboy MAX. If you need another weight, size, or variant, purchase that item separately from its individual product page.
Is this package appropriate for youth athletes?
The items in this package are intended for athletes approximately 13 and older when used with qualified adult or coach supervision. For younger athletes, use age-appropriate instruction and prioritize movement quality, coordination, and timing over load or volume.
Does this package come with a training plan?
No. Package 1 does not include a combined written training plan or video guide. Each included product has its own use information and suggested drill progressions on its individual product page.
What is the difference between the Water Ball and the Waterboy?
The KHAOS® Water Ball has a spherical shape that allows the water load to shift in multiple directions. The KHAOS® Waterboy has a cylindrical shape that channels the water load lengthwise, making it useful for controlled carries, presses, hinges, and related movements.
