The TAP® Synthetic Leather Weighted Cuffs can be used in place of holding dumbbells or other weights as a way of adding resistance to the movement of the arms. They are often used when performing pronation drills as well as scapular stabilization and strengthening movements. The adjustable weighted cuffs may also be used as ankle weights if desired.
The cuffs are ideal for exercise movements where slow, deliberate, and controlled movements are desired. Using these devices for explosive movement drills is not recommended unless following an established exercise protocol while under the supervision of a knowledgeable coach.
Recommended for individuals and commercial/institutional use, the TAP® Synthetic Leather Weighted Cuffs are comfortable and durable. These wrist weights have two easily adjustable hook and loop closures for a secure fit. Synthetic leather was chosen for the Cuffs because of its moisture resistance, thus resulting in lower maintenance requirements. Cleaning with most non-abrasive household cleaners, spray cleaners, or disinfectant wipes is acceptable.
While suitable for either indoor or outdoor use, they are not intended for use in water or in areas where they are exposed to extreme environmental conditions, sharp edges, or points. Instructions for use are not included.
