Review Submission Terms

Thank you for taking the time to review a product from Oates Specialties. These Review Submission Terms explain what you're agreeing to when you submit a review. By checking the agreement box on the review form and submitting your review, you agree to the terms below.

My submission is honest

My review reflects my genuine experience with the product. If I received the product free or at a discount in exchange for a review, if I am an employee, ambassador, or sponsored athlete of Oates Specialties, or if I have any other material connection to the company, I have disclosed that in my review.

I have the right to submit what I upload

I own or have permission to submit all photos, video, and audio in my review. No third party's permission is required for Oates Specialties LLC to use them as described below. If any identifiable person appears in my media, I have their consent — and if that person is a minor, I am their parent or legal guardian and I am consenting on their behalf.

I'm granting Oates Specialties permission to use my review

I grant Oates Specialties LLC a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, edit, translate, create derivative works from, publish, publicly display, publicly perform, and distribute my review — including my review text, the name I provide, the photos, video, and audio I submit, and my likeness and voice within them — in any and all media now known or later developed. This includes but is not limited to:

  • The Oates Specialties website and product pages
  • Email marketing, newsletters, and customer communications
  • Social media, in paid and organic posts
  • Digital and print advertising
  • Product packaging and printed materials
  • Submissions to third-party platforms including Google, Meta, and retail partners

I waive any right to inspect or approve any specific use of my review by Oates Specialties.

I release Oates Specialties from claims

I release Oates Specialties LLC, its affiliates, employees, and anyone authorized by Oates Specialties from any claim arising out of the uses described above, including claims for right of publicity, invasion of privacy, defamation, or copyright infringement. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oates Specialties LLC from any claim by a third party arising from the review, photos, video, or audio I submitted, or from any statement I made in my review.

Editing and publication

Oates Specialties may edit my review for length or clarity without changing its meaning, may decline to publish it, and may remove it at any time. Oates Specialties is not obligated to use my submission.

Age and consent for minors

I am at least 18 years old, or a parent or legal guardian is submitting on my behalf and has read and agreed to these terms. Any minors visible in my media are my own children or minors for whom I am a parent or legal guardian, and I consent to their appearance on their behalf.
