The TAP® Rotational Core Trainer is a ground-based rotational training device that provides challenging exercises for the entire body.
Increases balance
Improve coordination
Increase rotational strength and power
The TAP® Rotational Core Trainer does NOT include instruction for use, Olympic bar, plate weights, or bar weight clip (collar)
The TAP® Rotational Core Trainer is a conditioning tool excellent for a wide variety of functional exercises. Floor-based, it can be used to target lower and upper body movement patterns. The TAP® Rotational Core Trainer trains the entire core area and develops the dynamic stability and balance needed to maintain control of the athlete's center of gravity once power levels increase. It is outstanding for developing stabilization with movements focused on the anti-rotator function of the core.
The TAP® Rotational Core Trainer is an ideal training device for improving explosive power. It offers means to train for hip rotation, lumbar stabilization, thoracic flexibility, and shoulder range of motion as well as strength. Virtually all athletic activities require some degree of rotation/stabilization as fundamental power movements for athletes. TAP® Rotational Core Builder exercises can closely replicate rotation movements used in many sports. A number of movements can be performed from a standing position more closely replicating the body position in competition.
In addition to being very versatile, it is very portable because the TAP™ Rotational Core Trainer does not need to be bolted down. Its compact design makes it easily transportable to open areas for use when space is limited. Up to three Olympic plates can be added to the base to add stability negating the need to place it against a wall for steadiness during exercise. Its portability allows a wide range of exercises to be performed in a relatively small area.
Using the TAP® Rotational Core Trainer is easy. The sleeve is capable of 360° rotation permitting a wide variety of exercises with the necessary range of motion. Exercises are accomplished while holding the bar and rotating/pivoting the bar from side to side or lifting/pressing. Light weight is preferred for many dynamic movements and requires only the Olympic bar.
The TAP® Rotational Core Trainer can be used with or without the 'V' handle or additional weights. The included v-shaped handle can be added to the Olympic bar for different movement patterns and increased challenge for many exercises. Olympic plate weights (not included) can be added for greater resistance if needed.
The 'V' shape handle is included with the TAP® Rotational Core Trainer and will fit only Olympic (2") bars. The pivoted sleeve is approximately 18" long; the bar holder sleeve is for use with Olympic bars only.
Old model seen in video below. It is the same concept but the base has changed to use plate weights for added stability/portability instead of the connected solid metal plate.
