SpeedChain-Schulung
Was sind SpeedChains™?
- spüren (Kettenwiderstand beim Bewegen);
- visuell (die Ketten sehen, während sie sich bewegen);
Erhältlich in drei Modellen:
- Stark – normalerweise geeignet für weniger entwickelte Sportler, typischerweise in der Mittel- und Oberstufe;
- X-Strong SpeedChain™ – wird normalerweise von High-School- und College-Athleten verwendet;

What is SpeedChain® training?
SpeedChain® is a category of variable‑resistance training tools built on a single mechanical idea: as the athlete swings, throws, or drives, the chain provides overload at the top of the movement and unloads at the bottom. That creates a different training stimulus from constant‑resistance work with cables, bands, or dumbbells, and it produces a different kind of adaptation — one that maps directly to sport speed.
Why variable resistance matters:
- Overload where the athlete is strong. The chain adds mass at the top of the movement, forcing more work exactly where the athlete can produce it.
- Unload where the athlete is weak. As the chain lifts off the ground, resistance drops, letting the movement finish at speed instead of grinding to a stop.
- Trains the acceleration curve. Most athletes are strong in one part of their swing or throw and weaker in another; variable resistance helps smooth that curve.
- Sport‑specific setup. Every SpeedChain® variant is engineered around a specific swing, throw, or stride pattern so the resistance lines up with the movement.
The SpeedChain® family
The SpeedChain® Batting Chain and Batting NOS™ (Neuromuscular Over‑Speed) are built for bat speed and swing efficiency in baseball and softball.
The Arm Care & Strength Tool loads the arm through the throwing pattern.
The Golf Chain and Golf NOS™ focus on clubhead speed and swing sequencing.
Tennis variants — including Pronator and Acemaker chains — are tuned for serve and stroke power.
The Leg Training Tool supports lower‑body power, speed, and agility work.
The TorsoBurner® is the rotational‑core power piece in the system.
Accessories and replacement parts round out the platform so programs can maintain and expand existing setups.
Programming
SpeedChain® work usually sits in the power block of a training day — after the athlete is warm and before fatigue sets in. Volumes are low and quality is high: think three to five sets of three to six focused reps, not long sets of twenty. Overspeed variants in the NOS™ line are typically introduced later in a training path as the athlete matures and has a base of strength and movement skill. Team‑quantity SpeedChain® orders qualify for volume discounts — call or text (936) 295‑4459 for a program quote or help matching specific SpeedChain® tools to your roster and sport.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is SpeedChain® different from a weighted bat or a weighted ball?
A weighted implement adds constant mass — the athlete grinds through the whole movement. A SpeedChain® adds mass at the top of the movement and takes it away at the bottom, so the athlete gets overload where they can handle it and unload where they need speed. The training effect is different, and it's why bat speed and arm speed respond to chain work when they've plateaued with static loading.
Which SpeedChain® variant is best for a baseball hitter?
The SpeedChain® Batting Chain is the foundational bat-speed tool. Once the athlete has spent time with it, the Batting NOS™ (Neuromuscular Over-Speed) is the next step — it's an overspeed variant that trains the swing at higher-than-game tempo. Most college and pro hitters cycle both throughout the year.
What is 'NOS' in the SpeedChain® line?
NOS™ stands for Neuromuscular Over-Speed. It's the overspeed line — variants designed to train the swing, throw, or stroke at faster-than-normal tempo. The theory is straightforward: to move faster in-game, you have to train at faster-than-game speeds at least some of the time. The nervous system adapts.
